T9App app for iPhone and iPad

The main complaint of this app is the hassle it was to send the message, now you can prefill everything and just hit send from inside the app for text messages, free texts, and emails! Expect another update soon.



T9App is a replacement keyboard which is used to send text messages for free via email (iPod Touch/iPhone), or from the standard texting plan (iPhone only).

T9App uses only 9 keys and simple swipe gestures to replace the 30+ keys of the default Apple Keyboard, letting users type faster with less mistakes.

Swipe gestures are used to control the flow of the message (backspace, capitalization, choosing words, showing/hiding punctuation and numbers, adding user defined words, etc), which allows for intuitive and quick messages.

Sick of having to divert all of your attention to staring at a tiny keyboard when sending texts or emails? T9Apps big keys make "touch texting" possible again and brings the speed back as well!

HOW TO USE THE KEYBOARD:
~To type "word" tap a key once for each letter (Wxyz - mnO - pqRs - Def)
~If the word is not the farthest left option, swipe your finger across the keys from left to right to rearrange the words -OR- tap the word that you want
~Tap space to add the word to the message

SWIPE GESTURES (DONE OVER THE KEYBOARD):
~Right to Left: Backspace
-Long Swipe Right to Left: Clear word
~Left to Right: Rearrange words
~Bottom to Top: Capitalize word
~Top to Bottom: Change keys to punctuation and numbers

HOW TO ADD A WORD NOT IN WORD LIST:
~Swipe one finger from the top of the screen to the bottom
~Use Apple Keyboard to type the new word
~Hit return to permanently add word to the word list and to the message

CHOOSING CONTACTS:
~The user chooses a contact/which phone #, also using the predictive search against Contacts on the iPhone/iPod.

SENDING FREE TEXTS:
~After composing the message and choosing contacts, the user selects the cell phone provider of the recipient. Fear not, if the cell phone provider is unknown, there is a Try All option! (USA Providers only)
~T9App will compose a new message in Mail and pre-fill everything (requires an email address to be set up in the default Mail program), all the user needs to do is hit send.
~The recipient will receive a the text within seconds, and can respond directly back to your email as if they were texting another phone (also FREE for you!)

SENDING STANDARD TEXTS:
~After composing the message and choosing a contact, T9App will open Messages and prefill the "To" field, the message has been copied into the clipboard. All the user needs to do is double tap the message field and hit Paste.
